## What the diagnostic measures

The diagnostic samples recall, tracing, comprehension, debugging, idiomatic code judgment, and detection of plausible-but-wrong AI-style code. It currently supports JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.

## How to take it

1. Choose the language you work in.
2. Set aside one uninterrupted sitting of about 14 minutes.
3. Turn off AI assistants and autocomplete, and do not look up answers.
4. Complete the warm-up and short timed drills.
5. Review the six-skill profile and choose a focused next practice step.

The first diagnostic can be taken without an account. An account is needed to preserve a longitudinal trend and use subscriber practice features.

## Interactive requirement

The timed diagnostic itself requires a JavaScript-capable browser because timing, answers, integrity signals, and server-authoritative submission form one interactive sitting. This Markdown page explains the experience but does not expose the private drill bank or emulate the assessment.

## Interpretation limit

A result describes this sitting under this condition. It cannot prove why a gap appeared or establish that AI use caused skill decay.
